Cavriana is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Mantua in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 110 km east of Milan and about 25 km northwest of Mantua. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 3,804 and an area of 36.8 km².[1]
The municipality of Cavriana contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Bande, Campagnolo, and Castelgrimaldo.
Cavriana borders the following municipalities: Goito, Guidizzolo, Lonato, Medole, Monzambano, Pozzolengo, Solferino, Volta Mantovana.
