Talk:Caushun

I suppose the importance of this stub is that he was the first openly gay artist signed to a major label... I think that enough, but I take it someone else disagrees?--bakuyaku 16:47, 21 October 2005 (UTC)
- I would dispute the "major label" contention -- he supposedly had a deal with "Baby Phat," Kimora Lee Simmons' label, but the record never came out so far as I can determine, and he and his website [1] seem to have disappeared. Also, claims that he was the first openly gay rapper period are false, since events like the PeaceOUT World Homo Hop Festival (founded 2001) precede his appearance. --Larrybob 19:28, 30 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Incorrect Birth Year
Changed from 1957 to 1977 or 1978 per this article : http://www.keithboykin.com/arch/2006/12/07/the_great_gay_r_1
Think about it, he would have been in his 40s by the time he was "just getting signed" to a major label. In fact, right now he'd be 50 or 51 years old if that were indeed the case. —Preceding unsigned comment added by RemyK313 (talk • contribs) 09:37, 5 February 2008 (UTC)
