[edit] Speedy deletion of Www.catalindragomir.com

A tag has been placed on Www.catalindragomir.com requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, "See also" section, book reference, category tag, template tag, interwiki link, rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Bfigura (talk) 01:33, 21 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] March 2008

Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Catalin Dragomir. While objective prose about products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Thank you. Toddst1 (talk) 16:09, 21 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Copyright Issues and Advertising

Mr. Dragomar, Thank you for clarifying the source of the material you contributed and who the owner is. Unfortunately two problems remain:

  1. Wikipedia has specific licensing guidelines that we need to follow to accept text that has been published on other sources. If you still wish to grant Wikipedia the rights to this material, check out Wikipedia:Requesting_copyright_permission#For_text. Once you have been issued "an OTRS ticket" that shows Wikipedia has been granted the rights to the text, note this in the talk page..
  2. However, That article is clearly both promotional and reads like a resume. It would be speedily deleted again under Wikpedia's policy on advertising.

Please review the following policies:

Let me be clear: Do not recreate Catalin Dragomir (yet again) without addressing all of these policies, even if you address the copyright issue. Your repeated creation of your autobiography, violating Wikipedia policies, is disruptive and you will be blocked. This is your final warning. Toddst1 (talk) 22:07, 21 March 2008 (UTC)
