[edit] Translation

I'm a little worried about the current translation of "phaesalus". It seems to me that "yacht" has more grand connotations than "little boat" might, and considering Catullus' affinity for diminutives in his epic parodies, "yacht" doesn't seem appropriate for the translation. Suggest changing it to "little boat". Any complaints? --Blisters 02:56, 11 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] tenses in indirect statement

In line 2, the indirect statement's verb is fuisse -- thus it should happen temporally before the main verb. This could be fixed by changing it to either

said that it had been the fastest

or

says that it was the fastest

.

This page doesn't appear to be particularly frequented, so I am just going to go ahead and change it to the latter. 66.66.133.188 16:36, 15 September 2007 (UTC)
