[edit] Historicity

I thought Kate Barlass was unhistorical. PatGallacher 14:11, 13 September 2005 (UTC)

I have no idea. All I know is she's encyclopedic. I did try to strike a harmonious mean between straight narration and weasely "According to legend..." phrasing. :)  At least one website claims that she's so historical that there's a Barlass coat of arms with a broken arm on it![1] (Cf. Jenny Geddes for another semi-legendary Scottish woman.) --Quuxplusone 22:39, 13 September 2005 (UTC)
