[edit] On the proposed merge with catabolism
Actually, I'd think this belongs more with starvation than with catabolism. Granted, both words share an etymology, but I think this is more about starvation. Csari 20:35, 7 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Spelling?
So is the correct spelling catabolisis or catabolysis? I find both in regular google, but only catabolysis in google scholar, which makes me suspect the article is at best the less-common form, and at worst, a mis-spelling. On Pubmed, only one hit for catabolysis, none for -isis. Which makes me start to wonder if this is really a well-established word, as opposed to dietary neologism? Csari 20:35, 7 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Merged
Indeed, spelling was an issue here. This article didn't add anything to starvation nor to anabolism, so I've merged. But I think catabolism should indeed be split up from anabolism in the future.--Steven Fruitsmaak (Reply) 13:07, 4 September 2006 (UTC)
