[edit] Career
Maré was born in Neuss, Germany into a family with classical music interests (both parents were professional musicians). Her first concert as a soloist was with an orchestra at the age of 10 years old. While a young adult she played solo concerts as a classical violinist in the USA, Israel, Scandinavia, Europe and at many festivals including Schleswig Holstein Musikfestival and Santander Music Festival. Maré has received numerous scholarships (such as Stipendium der Münchner Orchesterakademie, Stipendium der Rotarische Gesellschaft Hamburg and Konzerte Junger Künstler). She has received her Masters Degree at the Munich Music Conservatory and held the position of an alternating concertmaster with a large Scandinavian symphony orchestra, Aarhus Symfoniorkester.
In 2008, Maré relocated to the USA and signed with the indie record label Spectra Records. She has two 2007 CD releases, Remembering The Day and Light Longing, which she composed, recorded and produced herself.
Her song "It Came True" is featured on the film Butterflies In The Wind[3], which premiered at the 2007 Ava Gardner Film Festival in North Carolina.
