The Catholic Church in Hungary is part of the worldwide Catholic Church, under the spiritual leadership of the Pope and curia in Rome.

There are around five million Catholics in Hungary — around half of the total population. The country is divided into 12 dioceses including 4 archdioceses. In addition, there is a territorial abbey and a separate jurisdiction for those of the Byzantine Rite.
