From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Catholic University of Hong Kong (traditional Chinese: 香港天主教大學) is a proposed post-secondary education institution that will begin its formation after the current Caritas Francis Hsu College in Hong Kong, becomes a fully recognized university with self accreditation status. The dream of a Catholic University in Hong Kong was made by the late Bishop Francis Hsu, a Catholic priest in Hong Kong.
Caritas Francis Hsu College anticipates strengthening its academic structure and rigour, and aims for further development in the direction of a constituent college of a Catholic University. As of 2007, the Caritas Francis Hsu College hopes to gain university status within 10 years.
