The Catholic Public Domain Version, abbreviated as CPDV, is a modern Catholic translation of the Sacred Bible from the Sixtus V and Clement VIII Latin Vulgate edition. The sole translator and editor is Ronald L. Conte Jr.. The translator used the Challoner Douay-Rheims version as a guide in translating the Latin Vulgate into English. This translation also features a Latin-English Study which includes the Latin Vulgate, the English CPDV translation, translation notes, and commentary.
