Catherine Russell

Catherine Russell (born 1966) is an English actress.

Catherine Russell is the daughter of the actor Nicholas Smith and his wife Mary. She has led a successful film, stage and television career in a wide range of roles. For Out Of Joint/Royal Court she worked with Max Stafford-Clark as Masha in Three Sisiters and in Talking To Terrorists. She has starred in numerous television series including the title role in Chandler & Co, Hugh Bonneville's sister in The Cazalets and the role of Veronica in Single. She replaced Lesley Vickerage in the role of 'Helen Lynley' in the fifth series of The Inspector Lynley Mysteries on British television. Her film work includes Clockwork Mice and Bridget Jones II.
