Never one to forget, Catherine returned to see Alan and shook his hand with a dog poo on it. She served as a witness in a case and Alan made her out to be a demented old widow.
[edit] Boston Legal (2005–2006)
Catherine was first seen in "From Whence We Came" on Boston Legal, applying for Alan's secretarial job. While there she managed to offend everyone, mostly Lori Colson and Shirley Schmidt whom she become sparring colleagues with. It wasn't until she be-friended Bernard Ferrian, a (midget) man who killed his mother and neighbor with a skillet. She became increasingly worried about his urge to kill again, whacking him with a skillet. This ended in her going to trial and winning. She was then fired by Shirley. She then became an armed robber, robbing two supermarkets with a gun. She escaped these charges. She then tried to smuggle an elderly patient out of a nursing home in which she was being treated badly. Alan realized the reason Catherine was being so bad was because she wanted the attention. After speaking with Shirley, she hired her as the sandwich and cake lady at the firm, eventually taking over Garrett Wells office for her job.
