Catherine Malandrino

Catherine Malandrino is a fashion designer. She was born in Grenoble, France and now works in New York City as well as in Paris. She has garnered a large fanbase among couture fashionistas, with an impressive list of celebrity clients.

Malandrino began her career at Dorothee Bis, and continued work at various other labels including Emanuel Ungaro and Diane von Furstenberg, before founding her own design label in 1998 with her soon-to-be husband Bernard Aidan.

In 2006, Malandrino appeared as guest judge on the reality television program Project Runway.

Wearers of the Catherine Malandrino line have included high-profile celebrities. Angelina Jolie, Sandra Bullock, Demi Moore, and Heidi Klum have all been featured on magazine covers wearing Malandrino designs. Her designs have also been featured prominently in at least one episode of the television series Sex and the City.
