Catherine Bosley

Catherine Bosley (born March 3, 1967 (1967-03-03) (age 41) is an American television anchorwoman.

Bosley was born in Lake County, Ohio, and graduated from Harbor High School, near Ashtabula, in 1985. She began working at age 17 at the local Hills Department Store as a cashier, staying there through her first year of college at Kent State University's Ashtabula Campus. She then went on to finish her degree in Telecommunications at the Main KSU campus while working at a sports store and at WKSU-FM public radio as a newsroom assistant and a receptionist. She also worked at the student television station TV2.

After graduating cum laude from Kent State in 1989, Bosley took a job reading the news on Sundays at WDON, a small radio station in Geneva, Ohio. She got her first TV job at WICU-TV in Erie, Pennsylvania, where she had interned the summer before. This was followed by a position at WETM-TV in Elmira, New York, where she anchored, produced and reported. Her next position was at WROC-TV in Rochester, New York, where she worked for more than a year as a reporter and producer. Finally, she landed the job she had always wanted; full-time night-side crime reporter and back-up anchor at WKBN-TV in Youngstown, Ohio. In 2001, she was named morning show co-anchor at WKBN; she became the noon show anchor in 2003.

In September 2004, Bosley became co-host of a morning drive time show on WYFM in Youngstown, Ohio.

Bosley is now an anchor and reporter for WOIO-TV in Cleveland, Ohio.

In the spring of 2003, Bosley went with her husband for a holiday in Key West, Florida. While there, she joined in a wet T-shirt contest one night. The event was filmed, and the film of Bosley stripping and posing nudefor the crowd was leaked on the Internet.
