Cathedral of Saint Paul and Peter
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Cathedral of Saint Paul and Peter is a neo-Gothic church in Vyšehrad fortress in Prague.
Originally built in the 19th century, the church suffered a fire in the early 20th century and has been rebuilt. The cathedral features an impressive stone mosaic above its entry, and its twin spires can be seen atop a hill to the south from along the Vltava River in central Prague.
Behind the church is located Vyšehrad cemetery, the final resting place of many famous Czechs, including author Karel Čapek.
