Cathay Cineleisure Orchard (Chinese: 国泰乌节电影娱乐城) is an urban mall located at Grange Road, Singapore. The building is managed by Cathay Organisation Holdings Limited, under its subsidiary company of Cathay Cineleisure International. Cathay Cineleisure opened in 1997 after the old Orchard Cinema building was torn down in 1994. To many teenagers and youths, the place is known in its short form as "Cine".
The mall has a mix of tenants which include a food court in the basement, an Apple Computer shop run by Club 21, Burger King, KFC, Long John Silver's, Subway, Yoshinoya, a section of youth themed shops on the second floor known as L2. The centre has cafes and bistros in the building, and a wide range of food and beverage outlets. It also houses a karaoke lounge and a video games arcade. Last but not least, Cathay Cineplex Orchard operates twelve movie halls at Cathay Cineleisure Orchard, with three on the fourth floor, six on the sixth and three on the ninth. The ninth floor houses a large e-gaming centre, known as E2-Max.
The building has won accolades such as the "SIA-ICI (Singapore Institute of Architects - ICI Paints) Colour Award" for its creative use of colours in its building design. Consumers have given it the thumbs-up when two of its cinemas (Halls 3 and 6) were voted Singapore's best screens in a survey conducted by The Straits Times in April 1998. In another survey by Ad Post, a publication which reaches out to Singapore residents across the island, readers voted Cathay Cineplex Orchard their "Favourite Cinema in Singapore".
