Cathal Lordan (English Charles Lordan) (born 23 March 1987 in Cork) is an enthusiastic young Irish midifielder, currently plying his trade at Cork City F.C in the Eircom Soccer League. His date of birth is 23/03/87. Cathal signed for City in May 2006, and is the younger brother of City defender Cilian. Before joining City, Cathal was previously cross-channel at Ipswich Town F.C. after joining from local Irish side Ballincollig and was a member of Ipswich's 2004-2005 F.A. Youth Cup winning team, scoring both goals in the first leg of the final against Southampton F.C.'s academy. However he never made an appearance for the Ipswich first team. Lordan has represented the Irish national side from under 13-18 level.
In July 2007, Lordan joined Cork City rivals Waterford United on loan.
