Cathal Brady (English Charles Brady) is an Irish footballer currently playing for Kildare County in the League of Ireland.
[edit] Career
Cathal Brady had a successful spell in the USA College Leagues before returning to Ireland [1]. Fiffles was Brady's coach for the Flyers. "Cathal's best position is attacking center midfielder, but there's nobody like him up top," Fiffles said. "He's fast, quick, clever and elusive." [2]. He made the All American Team 3 times [3].
A skilful midfielder, Brady appeared mostly for the Bohs Under-21 team after signing from Kilkenny City but made his first team debut against Cork City on September 15 2006. He failed to make a competitive appearance for the Bohs first team this season before he signed for John Ryan's Kildare County on July 31 2007 along with team-mate Michael Mooney.[4]
Brady scored his first goals for Kildare when netting a brace in a 3-1 win over Dundalk on September 8.
