Caterina Ginnasi

Caterina Ginnasi (159030 November 1660) was an Italian painter of the Baroque period, active mainly in Rome. She was the pupil of the painter Giovanni Lanfranco. In Rome, she painted altarpieces for the church of Santa Lucia. She was the niece of the patron and builder of the church, Cardinal Ginnasi. She would have been a contemporary of Giovanna Garzoni.
