Catawbiense hybrid

A catawbiense hybrid is a hybrid of the plant genus Rhododendron, derived from crosses of American species Rhododendron catawbiense and Rhododendron maximum with European and Asian species R. arboreum, R. caucaseum and R. ponticum.
