[edit] Construction
Recently, Catasauqua built a new high school in Northampton and remodeled the existing high school, changing it into the Catasauqua Middle School.
The old middle school, Lincoln Middle School, has been purchased by Allentown developer Abraham Atiyeh at a cost of $900,000. The building will be converted into a small shopping villa, aimed at raising the borough's local economy. It is to feature a pizzaria, an arts and crafts store, a gym, and a Kentucky Fried Chicken.
