[edit] User talk page blanking concern

Regarding user talk pages, it is best to not delete notices, but instead, to archive them. You will find how to do this here [1], under "When pages get too long." Your talk page is intended to serve as a place to discuss your contributions. It ends up being a sort of a history of the work you've done and the conflicts you've been in, or the praise you've received. It's alright to archive comments or warnings, but blanking your talk page is not considered acceptable, as it is not yours. Please read WP:USERPAGE and WP:TALK. Actively erasing non-harassing personal messages is often interpreted as hostile. In the past, this kind of behavior has been viewed as uncivil. For this reason, if your deletion of notices and concerns on your user talk page is to keep the "clutter" down, I suggest that you instead create archives for these messages. I would be happy to help you do just that if you ask me to. -Kukini 16:34, 19 January 2007 (UTC)

You have removed several user warnings from your user or user talk page. These warnings are not put on your talk page to annoy you; they were placed here because other editors have noticed an issue with your behaviour that may require improvement. They are a method of communication and user talk pages stand as a record of communication with you. If you do not believe the warning was valid or have a question about improving your behaviour you can respond here or visit the help desk. If your talk page is becoming long, you can archive it in accordance with the guidelines laid out here How to archive a talk page. Thank you. Insanephantom (my Editor Review) 11:08, 21 January 2007 (UTC)
Do not remove vandalism warnings from your user talk page unless you are archiving 30kb or more of old content. This user talk page does not belong to you, it belongs to the Wikimedia Foundation. If you blank and/or vandalize this page in the future, you could be blocked from editing without further notice.

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Windows Movie Maker Complete Project.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Windows Movie Maker Complete Project.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page.
