[edit] The "Hole in the Road"

After reviewing the VfD discussion on the hole in the road article I decided to try this as a solution for that page. JeremyA 04:33, 28 Feb 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Filled in 1994?

The Hole in the Road is featured in shots of The Full Monty (and I don't just mean the shots from the vintage tourist film at the beginning), which was released in 1997. If the hole was filled in 1994, this would mean that the shots were taken at least three years earlier. Seems a little strange to me, especially if they knew the Hole was going to be filled in. - Keith D. Tyler (AMA) 23:20, 13 April 2006 (UTC)

I don't know about when The Full Monty was filmed, but Supertrams first ran across Castle Square in 1995—so the Hole in the Road was definitely gone by then. —JeremyA 22:03, 23 October 2006 (UTC)
