Castile is a historic land that has more than 1200 years. Now the nationalism is becoming more important but there are a lot of things to do to reach it like basque or catalonian nationalisms.
The spanish goverments during the last 30 years had avoided the castilians to reconice the real history of this country dividing it in several regions.
