Ergative (West Greenlandic):[3] intransitive verb: Karl(abs) pisuppoq. = 'Karl is walking.' transitive verb: Karl(erg) saw Hans(abs). = 'Karl sees Hans.'

Even if the correct usage in West Greenlandic would be "Karl saw Hans" to be "Karl sees Hans", a different verb should be chosen, that cannot be mistaken as a cognate.

The meaning of theory is wider than theories which have been generally accepted and widely used.
