Talk:Cascades Shopping Centre
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Cascades Centre forms part of an ongoing multi million pound programme of urban redevelopment in Portsmouth. As such it seems to warrant an entry and the proposed category for speedy deletion tag should be removed.
My understanding is that the adjacent site of the former Tricorn complex will form part of this redevelopment and the article could be extended to reflect this.

- The article says it's a shopping center. That's all. There are literally hundreds of thousands of those, and then each of those is an economic development of something. This rationale does not explain why this particular one is of note, why it is notable. Coupled with the fact that the text as it is now does not make a claim of notability, this makes it a speedy deletion candidate. There has to be something to make this one unlike the others. If there is such a thing, it is unstated still. Utgard Loki 17:46, 11 April 2007 (UTC)
Discussion on the merger is still taking place here, the tags should not be removed until this discussion has reached a conclusion. Currently consensus seems to support merging this article. Camaron1 | Chris 12:07, 12 April 2007 (UTC)
