I have to disagree with the merge, on the grounds that the Casbah hosted an impressive variety of acts, many of them influental. In it's day, the Casbah gave voice to a number of Orange County punk bands, including Social Distortion, DI, Agent Orange, The Adolescents, and others.

Most successful musicians of the time out of Orange County knew of or worked in the Casbah. At least three Billboard Top 100 singles, at least one top ten (Stacey Q's "Two of Hearts"), and the first indepenent EP to go platinum (Berlin's Pleasure Victim) were recorded at the Casbah. If anything, the article should be expanded through interviews or writings of others who have recorded there.
