Castrensis

CASTRENSIS in a Latin adjective, derived from the noun castra (a neutral plurale tantum) '(military) camp'.
It is part of several titles of offices relating with the military (as in Abbas castrensis) and/or travel (see Comes castrensis, also shortened to Castrensis, thus substantivated).
