Castleton, Newport

Castleton (Welsh: Cas-bach) is a small hamlet in the city of Newport, South Wales.

Castleton is located in Marshfield ward, an affluent fringe region in the west of the city of Newport, very near the eastern fringes of Cardiff. The A48 dual carriageway passes through and the M4 passes above the village.

The village has a pub / restaurant, the Coach and Horses [1], on the A48.

Castleton also has a large, prominent Baptist chapel across the road from the pub [2].
