Castlemorris

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Castlemorris is a small tranquile village in the heart of Pembrokeshire, Wales. Castlemorris contains a small population of roughly 150 people of all ages.

Many choose to join in the fun in one of only two business' in the village; The "PUB", The Gwesty, Y Gwesty Bach ran by John and Maureen (Ocassionaly Dan) O'sullivan and a few locals help to run the place in the evenings. With a great local and welcoming atmosphere, the pub is a booming local business! Village parties are a custom to Castlemorris with a few held every year, including the famous village BBQ's, New years eve (Gwestys packed without Fail) and the past Fireworks night display that was so good it attracted visitors from far and wide. Unfortunatley it has had to be stopped as it was too dangerous and risky to be run by local members of the village.

The other business in Castlemorris is Castlemorris Feeds, selling Horse/Dog/Pet/Farm animal food and many other related accessories. There is a local golf course on the outskirts of castlemorris, Priskilly to be exact. Were many enjoy a good 19 holes everyday!

Castlemorris and its surroundings are a very popular area for tourists, searching the coastal paths and lovely blue flag beaches.

There isnt much more to say about Castlemorris as nothing really else happens! But this makes it brilliant in its own way!
