Castleiney (Caisleán Laighnigh in Irish) is a village in County Tipperary, Ireland. It is approximately 5 kilometers from Templemore and is one half of the parish of Loughmore-Castleiney. The village is approximately 7 km from Loughmore village. The village is sometimes known locally as the Washpen.
The village is reached from Templemore by taking the R433 road out of Templemore and turning right onto the R502 approximately one kilometre outside Templemore. One then crosses the bridge over the Dublin to Cork railway and takes the first right turn onto local road L3205, which takes one towards Castleiney village.
