Castlecove (Irish: An Siopa Dubh[citation needed]) is a village in County Kerry, Ireland, located on the Iveragh peninsula on the Ring of Kerry. It is situated on the southwestern side of the peninsula.
An Siopa Dubh translates to The Black Shop, not Castlecove. The Black Shop is the name of a pub/shop in Castlecove.
The gaelic word for Castlecove is Cuan an Caislean (pronounced coon an cashlawn). It is a sheer coincidence that An Siopa Dubh is the name of the public house in this tiny village.
