Castle Park High School was established in 1964.

Castle Park High School offers both Advanced Placement (AP) and International Baccalaureate (IB) classes. Along with Bonita Vista High School, which are the only two schools in the Sweetwater Unified School District that offer IB.

  A database with information about all the countries of the world, including recipes, culture and geography.

* eLibrary
  A database that includes information from 2,000 different sources. Excellent for English and Social Studies.

* Grolier's Encyclopedia
  A database of four encyclopedias, including one in Spanish.

* SIRS
  This is a general reference database that has full-text articles from over 1,500 publications. This is excellent for science and current issues or events.
