Castelnuovo di Val di Cecina is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Pisa in the Italian region Tuscany, located about 70 km southwest of Florence and about 70 km southeast of Pisa. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,460 and an area of 88.7 km².[1]

Castelnuovo di Val di Cecina borders the following municipalities: Casole d'Elsa, Monterotondo Marittimo, Montieri, Pomarance, Radicondoli, Volterra.
