Castello del Matese is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Caserta in the Italian region Campania, located about 60 km north of Naples and about 35 km north of Caserta. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,468 and an area of 21.5 km².[1]
Castello del Matese borders the following municipalities: Campochiaro, Piedimonte Matese, San Gregorio Matese, San Potito Sannitico.
