Castel Sant'Elia is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Viterbo in the Italian region Latium, located about 40 km north of Rome and about 30 km southeast of Viterbo. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,302 and an area of 24.0 km².[1]

Castel Sant'Elia borders the following municipalities: Civita Castellana, Fabrica di Roma, Faleria, Mazzano Romano, Nepi.
