Castagnito is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Cuneo in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 45 km southeast of Turin and about 60 km northeast of Cuneo. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,875 and an area of 7.1 km².[1]
Castagnito borders the following municipalities: Barbaresco, Castellinaldo, Guarene, Magliano Alfieri, Neive, and Vezza d'Alba.
