Cast Iron Shore

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Cast Iron Shore is a rather grim stretch of the Mersey Banks at the south end of the City of Liverpool. It is featured in John Lennon's song "Glass Onion" and is also mentioned in "The Skipper's Lament" by amateur Liverpool songwriter John Haines.

Liverpool Poet, Justine Tennant, also mentions The Cast Iron Shore in her poem "Norra Lorra Otters".
