She currently plays her best known role LaVan Davis' wife (no relation in reality) in the telivision series Tyler Perry's House of Payne. She will be reprising her role as Ella in the upcoming Tyler Perry movie "Madea Goes To Jail." In 2004, Davis was awarded Best Supporting Actress by the NAACP Theatre Award Committee (Los Angeles Chapter).
