Cash and Curry is an independent British movie directed by Cannes award winning director Sarjit Bains and written by Christine Edwards and Manish Patel. Filmed in 2006 and on location in Harrow, Barnet and Wembley.
Cash and Curry is a fast-paced, comedy-drama, set in multi-cultural London. Raj and his friends are tired of being "errand boys" at the bottom of the food chain. Ambition, leads Raj and his friends into the middle of a gang war between two of the biggest drug lords in London: Gabbar and Isaac.
Realising the consequences of his actions, Raj seeks refuge in the countryside with an old friend, Tony. Based in an old abandoned farm, Tony runs the largest pirate DVD manufacturing operation in London. To elude capture, Raj and his friends are forced to submerge themselves in farm life. Meanwhile, Gabbar and Isaac are hunting down Raj and his friends - but who will find them first?

Brian Jackson who played a farmer (Brian) played the iconic “Man from Del Monte” in the Del Monte adverts of the 1980's.
This is the forth time Ameet Chana and Pooja Shah have worked together.
British Bhangra star Juggy D makes a cameo appearance in the film.
Lee Latchford-Evans used to be in the highly successful pop group Steps and had enjoyed numerous number ones on the UK charts as part of Steps.

Gabbars wives are called Lakshmi, Dharmi & Khusmi which mean “Health, Wealth & Happiness”
Whilst filming the Mexican standoff scene, armed police and police helicopters were called to the location as a passerby had thought a real life gangland fight was occurring.
Cash and Curry is the first movie to be filmed at the new Wembley Stadium. Sarjit Bains’ other film "Triads, Yardies and Onion Bhajees" was the last film to be filmed at the old Wembley Stadium.
