Casaprota is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Rieti in the Italian region Latium, located about 45 km northeast of Rome and about 20 km southwest of Rieti. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 699 and an area of 14.6 km².[1]

Casaprota borders the following municipalities: Frasso Sabino, Mompeo, Montenero Sabino, Poggio Nativo, Poggio San Lorenzo, Torricella in Sabina.
