It should be noted, that graduate students who write a thesis or dissertation, even if published beyond their university, are not automatically considered notable. For notability based on one's studies, there should be evidence that the work is recognized by persons independent of the researcher in question (being cited in other papers, being accepted in a prestigious journal, other press coverage, winning of awards, etc.). --EngineerScotty 23:54, 14 June 2006 (UTC)
