[edit] Silver Carp

Great work on the Silver carp article. Perhaps you could answer a question I wondered about them. If silver carp are edible, why aren't bears, wolves, herons, and people chowing down on them like mad? They certainly seem plentiful enough, and easy to catch by scaring out of the water.

[edit] Carp References

References in wikipedia might be a bit complicated at first but I'm sure you can do it properly in no time. The quick way is to look at a good article, click "edit this page" of that article and see how they do it. Try this with articles with good references like cichlid or oscar (fish). If that system is too confusing for you, the following paragraph is a simpler way of doing it. Click "edit" to see how I did it. Good luck --Melanochromis 02:17, 13 April 2007 (UTC)
