[edit] Oops
- Hi, I recently accidentally placed a warning on your page. I will be completely honest. I'm using Huggle, and my hand actually slipped. I'll assure you that it won't happen again, and I've whitelisted your username, so it will not happen again. My apologies. Steve Crossin (talk) 05:02, 4 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Infant_Formula
Thanks for commenting on the NPOV issues on the Infant_Formula page. Having recently fathered a newborn, I was looking up something else and decided to look up Infant Formula. I use wikipedia several times a week (mainly as a technical reference) and was very suprised to find what struck me as a flagrant violation of NPOV.
Most of the wiki was not about Infant Formula at all. It reads more like a breastfeeding advocacy pamphlet. Intermingled among all the sorts of things one would expect from a wikipedia article (description, history, use, etc...) were references that had nothing to do with Infant Formula.
The entire section "risks of infant formula" gives the appearance of a level of scientific consensus against the use of infant formula that is entirely unjustified. Most of the articles don't reference infant formula at all. Several of them are opinion pieces/Commentary.
I agree that it's important to know about breastfeeding, particularly if you go to a Breastfeeding wiki. What I don't appreciate is seeing a wiki page about a widely used, perfectly acceptable form of infant nutrition, vandalized into a pamphlet. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.7.144.194 (talk) 22:47, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

- Quite right. Just deleted that, too. Maybe in the future you could help fight the vandalism, too? Or is that too much to hope for? croll (talk) 01:36, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
