[edit] Pharmacology

Have you considered joining WP:PHARM, our pharmacology WikiProject? JFW | T@lk 20:50, 20 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Arformoterol

Hi, added Template:Drugbox infobox using Dibberi's tool ( http://diberri.dyndns.org/wikipedia/templates ) to populate the fields from teh DrubBank reference number. Also added some links as to what it is. Drugbox allows link to the ever updating FDA leaflets. Not drug used in UK, so really could not add anything on its place in the range of treatment drugs available. Hope that helped though :-) David Ruben Talk 20:13, 14 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Phase II drugs

I noticed that you created several articles on phase II drugs. Generally, WP:PHARM has avoided the development of these articles because a significant proportion of these drugs never reach the marketing stage and cease being notable.

Could you try to include information of the method of action for vernakalant and tedisamil? JFW | T@lk 21:45, 25 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Chemical structures

Sure, no problem. Best, Fvasconcellos (t·c) 19:20, 5 April 2008 (UTC)

Done :) Fvasconcellos (t·c) 14:03, 11 April 2008 (UTC)
I'll have a look later. By the way, if you can find a couple of references to use before writing an article, that's better than starting it off with {{unreferenced}} ;) Fvasconcellos (t·c) 13:00, 17 April 2008 (UTC)
As of the present, I have not found any references yet. Could you please refer it to another user? :-) Carlo Banez (talk) 13:08, 17 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Welcome to MCB

Hi there, welcome to the Wikiproject! If I can help in any way, or you have any comments or suggestions, please drop me a note on my talkpage. All the best, Tim Vickers (talk) 14:40, 13 April 2008 (UTC)

I have joined your project because of some articles on proteins which are used as drugs. :-) Carlo Banez (talk) 15:05, 13 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Sumatriptan

Done. It was blanked because someone had replaced the article content with some sort of advertisement for a website. When you come across vandalism, feel free to revert it (and warn those responsible) yourself—see Wikipedia:Vandalism#How to respond to vandalism. Fvasconcellos (t·c) 15:27, 18 April 2008 (UTC)

Done. I have sent a warning to User:Wrymtime. :-) Carlo Banez (talk) 15:46, 18 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Indacaterol

You need to start doing some of your own research rather than constantly asking others. If not already in your browser favourites, then add PubMed's search site: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/sites/entrez

Indacaterol gives 18 hits, of which the most obviously useful papers as to whether it is a short or long acting B-2 agonist are:

  • Cazzola M, Matera MG, Lötvall J (July 2005). "Ultra long-acting beta 2-agonists in development for asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease". Expert Opin Investig Drugs 14 (7): 775–83. doi:10.1517/13543784.14.7.775. PMID 16022567.
  • Beeh KM, Derom E, Kanniess F, Cameron R, Higgins M, van As A (May 2007). "Indacaterol, a novel inhaled beta2-agonist, provides sustained 24-h bronchodilation in asthma". Eur. Respir. J. 29 (5): 871–8. doi:10.1183/09031936.00060006. PMID 17251236. </ref>

I've added these to the article and moved Indacaterol's position in the navigation box David Ruben Talk 22:56, 27 April 2008 (UTC)

I understand. :-) Carlo Banez (talk) 11:07, 28 April 2008 (UTC)
Also, when you add a new item to a navbox, you may want to consider creating at least a stub for the article, even if it is just one sentence and an infobox. With a PubChem ID, this tool will automatically create the infobox for you. --Arcadian (talk) 16:03, 30 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Linagliptin

Hey there. Are you sure about the name of this drug? I couldn't find anything on PubMed or in the WHO's International Nonproprietary Name lists. Best, Fvasconcellos (t·c) 16:32, 1 May 2008 (UTC)

That information will be available soon. :-) Carlo Banez (talk) 16:58, 1 May 2008 (UTC)
Actually, but now I'm rethinking the drugbox considering that there are no search results in PubMed and in the WHO's International Nonproprietary Name lists. :-) Carlo Banez (talk) 16:27, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
I have already decided that it should be deleted. :-) Carlo Banez (talk) 02:57, 11 May 2008 (UTC)
OK. If you were the only editor of an article and decide it should be deleted, you can use {{db-author}} instead of {{prod}}. Why did you create it in the first place? :) Fvasconcellos (t·c) 03:00, 11 May 2008 (UTC)
Actually, it was a mistake. :-) Carlo Banez (talk) 14:39, 19 May 2008 (UTC)
