[edit] Spelling Freak
I am the spelling freak. Just as much as I am the "plot is to long you are telling me the whole movie" freak as well. My knowledge varies from subjects. But most of my knowledge is based upon my opinions so I won't be creating any articles. Better get busy before I get yelled at.
I am the cardinal raven with wings that look like a deep blood
I am the cardinal raven who watches over the life of others
With wings like the sea of blood with wings like god's tongues
I watch above my perch and to those I say like the grim reaper
Always
Cardinal Raven

Welcome! I see that you've created an account. I hope I see more of you in the Reference Desk.--Lenticel (talk) 05:36, 28 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Hover chair
Hi CR – sounds interesting. If it meets the notability (google hits) criteria and extends to a sizeable stub, my feeling is it should be safe enough. Is this your thinking? There's nothing on wikipedia, and googling hover chair gets at least this[1] and (air) floating chair is suggested here[[2]] and here[3]. If it's a concept chair so far, you could have a section with a couple of designer names and about its inspirational science fiction forebears. Julia Rossi (talk) 03:52, 28 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] signing your posts
When on talk pages or on RD, you almost always appear to use this formula:
Always,
Cardinal Raven ~~~~~Cardnial Raven
This is a very confusing forumla. You should always avoid trying to sign your posts multiple times. Anyways, it would be better if you simply put the five tildes at the end of posts and then avoid inserting anything else there. BTW, how much do you know about wiki formatting? --hello, i'm a member | talk to me! 06:56, 29 March 2008 (UTC)
- Do you mean four tildes, member? PS hang onto the "always" -- it belongs IMHO, Julia Rossi (talk) 09:35, 29 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Log in
Hi, CR I noticed your ip address was appearing when you sign with these ~. It means you need to log in again because for some reason (usually nothing at all) your account logged out. Happens often, cheers Julia Rossi (talk) 02:53, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
- I see you got there. Btw good pointer about the forum in your answer to the naked question. Well put. Apols for seeming all over (need no more coffee : }), Julia Rossi (talk) 02:04, 14 April 2008 (UTC)

- Re ghostly logger – that's spooky and upsetting for you. I read that thread and it didn't have your "sound" about it. Best thing is to go to an admin to find out what to do about it. The good thing is you caught it right away. Admin User talk:Acalamari seems nice, so I recommend you follow up with him. (It is a him.). I'll back you, best Julia Rossi (talk) 22:12, 17 April 2008 (UTC)

- All's well -- Larrymac caught it here[4]. Yay! Julia Rossi (talk) 22:58, 17 April 2008 (UTC)

- Hey, Cardster—what is going on? I keep seeing you ask a question as User and reply not long after as anon. I smell something vaguely reminiscent of a certain rodent. --Milkbreath (talk) 11:16, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] the Reference Desk
Yes, I know that it's great and all, being able to ask questions and get answers and all what, but could you please try to ask straightforward questions instead of rhetorical/thought-provoking ones? If you want to have a debate, go on a forum, or something. Wikipedia is not a place to have a debate. Ziggy Sawdust 13:49, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
- Once again, the Reference Desk is not a discussion forum. Please discontinue such posts, we have enough problems going on at the Desks right now. --LarryMac | Talk 13:21, 14 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Thanks.
It's not that I mind your questions, it's just that others do, and because of the nature of en.wp, well-intended actions can cause shitstorms and bans. But best of luck with hitting your roommate in the head with an adze editing Wikipedia. Ziggy Sawdust 18:05, 7 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Hey, your previous answer was somehow confusing
Do you mind to come back here and clarify it?217.168.3.246 (talk) 22:36, 8 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Morrowind
Hi there, I won't have a lot of time because I have a busy period coming up at work, but I'd be willing to swap a few lines on Morrowind occasionally. You really should hop around and look at tree stumps. There are many ways to get to Rome and depending on what character statistics you chose you may want to go to Athens instead :-). Some race to the city with that siltrider and find the guy to hand your papers to. The city also offers opportunities for buying stuff. Others prefer to stick around the village and the lake until they can do real damage. The cave entrance is manageable after you've gotten a bit of exercise and maybe found a better weapon. It will give you a place to crash and recover if you stay near the entrance. Deeper down there are nasties. You do know that you need to "sleep" to keep your strength up / recuperate? Good luck. [edit] Scrollhog?
Dear Cardinal Raven, now that I've answered one of your queries, I'd like to share what's on my mind. While I am willing to accept in good faith the numerous queries you post to the Reference Desks, I would kindly suggest that you:
- Remember this is an encyclopedia oriented towards factual content, and matters of a speculative nature are better directed towards Talk pages with like-minded editors, or Internet forums geared for that sort of discussion.
- Kindly consider compressing the format of the closing salutation on your queries so they don't, like this one, spread out over eight lines on these generally crowded screens, requiring us all to do a lot of [excessive] scrolling.
Thank you, Deborahjay (talk) 18:27, 18 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] When answering questions at Reference Desk
I've noticed that a few of your answers aren't 100% correct. It's helpful to include the source of your information when you answer a question, so the reader can check for him or her self. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 16:11, 19 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Quick thanks
I see you've tightened up the space on your signature. Looking good – cheers, Julia Rossi (talk) 02:44, 21 May 2008 (UTC)
