[edit] Speedy deletions
I am sorry to tell you that a number of your recent creations have been speedy deleted. An article without any content except a {{israel-stub}} template and a few categories, meets the WP:CSD speedy criterion A1: "Very short articles providing little or no context". If you want to create such articles, please add some words to the article, it is OK if the article is a bit short (WP:STUB), but there should be something about the subject there. [edit] Image:IAF.JPG
I see you have uploaded this image and tagged it {{GFDL}}. Are you sure about this tag, as the image looks as though it was taken from a website, which are not usually licensed under GFDL. Evil Monkey∴Hello 08:58, 27 October 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Copyrighted content
Please, do not copy and paste the contents of copyrighted sites into Wikipedia. Also, do not mark images as GFDL or PD when they are definitely not free to be used. If you can't find a freely licensed image, just don't upload one. — BRIAN0918 • 2005-10-27 09:06
[edit] Patentability Search
This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Patentability Search, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.patentest.com/welcome/services/patentability-search.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.
This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 19:09, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Copyright problems
Hello. Concerning your contribution, Patentability Search, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from either web sites or printed material without the permission of the author. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://www.patentest.com/welcome/services/patentability-search.html. As a copyright violation, Patentability Search appears to qualify for deletion under the speedy deletion criteria. Patentability Search has been tagged for deletion, and may have been deleted by the time you see this message. For text material, please consider rewriting the content and citing the source, provided that it is credible.
If you believe that the article or image is not a copyright violation, or if you have permission from the copyright holder to release the content freely under the GNU Free Documentation License (GFDL) then you should do one of the following:
-
- If you have permission from the author, leave a message explaining the details at Talk:Patentability Search and send an email with the message to "permissions-en (at) wikimedia (dot) org". See Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for instructions.
- If a note on the original website states that re-use is permitted under the GFDL or released into the public domain leave a note at Talk:Patentability Search with a link to where we can find that note.
- If you own the copyright to the material: send an e-mail from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en(at)wikimedia(dot)org or a postal message to the Wikimedia Foundation permitting re-use under the GFDL, and note that you have done so on Talk:Patentability Search.
However, for text content, you may want to consider rewriting the content in your own words. Thank you, and please feel free to continue contributing to Wikipedia. Mh29255 (talk) 19:10, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
