[edit] Your edits
Pay no attention to the people that are biting you for being unfamiliar with our policies. Instead, I suggest you read up on policies about notability and fiction. Happy editing! east.718 at 04:43, November 24, 2007
- But they aren't new, just have only a "few" edits, they've been here two months and no one was biting, just pointing out errors (and if you look at their contributes. you'll see they've blanked their talk page many a time). They've vandalized pages and moved pages for no reason. Generally those that move pages aren't new, just have new user names. And if you have a problem with my "warnings" don't play, address me directly. Car5ly858, the reason I only edit and monitor Days characters is because that's the soap I watch. Why would I randomly edit articles I know nothing about? CelticGreen (talk) 01:08, 25 November 2007 (UTC)

- Be advised that this user has blanked his or her talk page in an effort to hide the record of numerous warnings for misdeeds. This is easily viewed by clicking on the history tab above. Moreover, he or she has vandalized my own user page previously. - Realkyhick (Talk to me) 04:02, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
- Blanking your own talk page is perfectly acceptable, and should be taken as an indication that you have read the warning. If people are hounding you about grammar, take a look at our manual of style... I also wonder how the above two users found their way to my talk page in 45 minutes. east.718 at 05:44, November 25, 2007
- I found it by coming to this page, seeing your comment, and then looking at your user page and seeing my name. I don't know how Realkyhick found it. Maybe they are monitoring Car5ly858's page. That's up to them to tell you. S/he was annoying me on my talk page, I came here, saw your comment. It's not a hard line to follow. The accusation of stalking, when I've seen you around but never talked to you and only defended myself, is a little unnerving and uncalled for. I did check the edits by this user, because of the bad grammar and moving of pages, but I only corrected the Days articles and did it to keep the pages strong and free of grammatical errors. I didn't touch her other messes because I don't know anything about General Hospital.CelticGreen (talk) 15:03, 25 November 2007 (UTC)

- I found my way to User:east718's talk page by hovering over his/her signature and then clicking on the "User talk" link. This is made possible using Popups. (I highly recommend it.) By the way, I am indeed monitoring User talk:Car5ly858 because of her vandalism of my user and talk pages. - Realkyhick (Talk to me) 20:10, 25 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Your recent edits
Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 01:07, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] "Advice"
It depends on the kind of help you were looking for. If it was for something constructive regarding Wikipedia, yes. - Realkyhick (Talk to me) 02:15, 28 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Soap character infobox
You appear to be incorrectly implementing the new character box for soap characters. If you need an explanation of what to do, please see the project page. IrishLass (talk) 16:02, 28 November 2007 (UTC)
- Just an FYI, since the new {{Infobox soap character}} contains a collapsible section for character relationships, I've reverted your addition of a "Marriages" section to the Jessica Buchanan article. This info is already noted in the infobox, and within the article text as well. This is part of WP:SOAPS' ongoing task of removing unnecessary and excessive lists from articles. Thanks. — TAnthonyTalk 01:01, 29 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Alex Olanov
FYI, it's a copyright violation to cut and paste text from another website and present it on WP, as you did to create the Alex Olanov article. Please make sure all your edits in the future are your own original writing. Thanks. — TAnthonyTalk 16:59, 28 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Please move on
Please move on and leave people alone with the nonsensical comments. Other editors don't need to try and decipher your poorly worded comments on their talk pages. If you have a true problem with someone, take it to a moderator but don't leave comment that are unnecessary and make no sense as you've done on on CelticGreen's page [1] or have your "friends" do so as you did on mine [2]. It is disruptive to all parties involved. Thank you. IrishLass 20:32, 30 November 2007 (UTC)
- one my friends are trying to look out for me and make sure that my rights that i have are served the right way. and why did you get into this? --Car5ly858 06:25, 1 December 2007 (UTC)
- What rights? Again, what are you talking about? You violate my page, have your friends violate pages, why can't you just move on? What rights do you assert you need help being served? CelticGreen 18:29, 1 December 2007 (UTC)
- you violate my page first. I have legal rights as american citizen. --User:car5ly858 19:47, 1 December 2007 (UTC)
- No, child, no one violated your page and your American citizen rights are not being violated either. You came to my page first. And you are not supposed to edit other users comments on your talk page. You seem to be under the false impression that you have the right to mame Wikipedia because you are a US citizen and that is simply not true. Try learning some grammar and making some constructive edits, maybe then you'll gain respect from others. No one has violated your page, they've given you legitimate warnings based on your poor edits and copyright violations heaped on Wikipedia. You should also look at others' talk pages and make yours conform. Don't edit titles incorrectly, that's another MOS thing you should learn.CelticGreen 01:21, 2 December 2007 (UTC)
- Wikipedia is a website run by a private organization, and can dictate the terms of usage as it sees fit. Your whining about being an American citizen and having your "rights violated" have no bearing whatsoever here. Your rights pertain only to what the government can do in regard to your freedom of speech. Because of your previous misconduct and record of warnings (which is still easily accessed, no matter how hard you try to hide it), your every edit is being monitored by administrators of Wikipedia, with an eye toward blocking you from editing, either temporarily or permanently. So behave yourself. - Realkyhick (Talk to me) 04:13, 3 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] we should really drop this between CG and realyrick and be careful
I have to agree that you are taking their adivce to you way to far. I don't want to start a fight between us. i am going to look out for you but you should drop this fight between them. --Alexis3453 18:33, 3 December 2007 (UTC)
- ok, i will drop the fight between them. --Car5ly858 18:34, 3 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Page formatting
There is a general guideline of how a talk page should be formatted. New additions go at the bottom, not the top. If you try formatting your page like the rest of Wikipedia user pages, you might get better cooperation when you need help or make edits. It is actually a violation of Wikipedia to change another users comments and that would include formatting of titles against the MOS. This was done to help you, try accepting help and maybe people will stop monitoring you. IrishLass 18:50, 3 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Notability of Maria Zacchara
Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Maria Zacchara, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Maria Zacchara seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Maria Zacchara, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. To see the user who deleted the page, click here CSDWarnBot (talk) 17:00, 5 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] New characters
Future and new characters coming to soaps do not get pages immediately and certainly not before they appear. Consensus and Wikipedia guideline is a character must meet notability standards. Future characters with unknown storylines do not meet that criteria. As such, a page you created for a future character has been redirect to the main General Hospital page. If the character eventually meets notability guidelines, the page can be replaced. Thank you. IrishLass (talk) 21:02, 17 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Tommy McBain
I'm not even sure what you were trying to do with Tommy McBain, but in any case, until Tommy is returned to Todd and his offical name established, this article should not be changed or moved. Todd could even change his first name, we don't know. Also, we haven't merged this article into One Life to Live children yet specifically because the name issue is not settled and the storyline continues. — TAnthonyTalk 21:37, 17 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Colleen Brady
Do not remove the word "present" from Alison Sweeney's name on the Colleen Brady page. She has an upcoming scene as her as a ghost. Removing verified content is against the MOS. IrishLass (talk) 18:48, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
- it's a different person --Car5ly858 (talk) 18:50, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
- NO ~ she's portraying her as a ghost in February. GHOST. Shirley Jones is playing "old" Colleen and Alison is playing GHOST Colleen. IrishLass (talk) 18:51, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
- Colleen is going to be played by Shirley not Alison. --Car5ly858 (talk) 18:55, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
- Yes, OLD Colleen will be played by Shirley Jones. GHOST Colleen will be played by Alison. The plot is that John is going to sprinkle Colleen's ashes and see the ghosts of YOUNG Colleen and YOUNG Santo reunite. Those GHOSTS are going to be played by Alison Sweeney and James Scott. Just like Frank Parker played Shawn Brady in the present but a young child played him in the storyline where we are introduced to Colleen and Santo. Two people can play the same character. [edit] Claudia Zacchara
Characters who have not appeared do not meet notability and should, if someone creates them, be redirected to a show page. Your unlinking the redirect of Claudia Zacchara violates policy that only notable characters have article pages. Unlink the page again and it will be put up for permanent deletion. IrishLass (talk) 16:15, 30 January 2008 (UTC)
-
- She's coming tomorrow to the show. --Car5ly858 (talk) 18:31, 30 January 2008 (UTC)
- Doesn't matter. She's still not notable. Just because there's a character on a show, it doesn't mean they are notable enough to have an article. See the guidelines. I said nothing about anything other than her notability, she has none. IrishLass (talk) 18:56, 30 January 2008 (UTC)
- What ever. --Car5ly858 (talk) 20:11, 30 January 2008 (UTC)
