Added some details from the Carter USM web page to update/correct the beginning and end of the band info. TheCesspit

I added the NPOV notice because the whole article seems to have been written by a fan's perspective. The "The End...?" section is particularly POV, talking about the band's "glorious" career. thechuck_2112

I think I've fixed this info now and the NPOV notice can be removed? TheCesspit

Hello good wiki-people, I couldn't help noticing that on this article Fruitbat attacked Schofield in front of 13 million viewers while the article about Fruitbat claims 17 million viewers. Which one is correct?

Thanks, I.

Going to look into this.TheCesspit

For now, I've removed figures from both - quoting "millions", which is accurate. Andymarczak 10:03, 10 January 2006 (UTC)

I've cleaned up a few more non-neutral phrases, and I think this article is now less gushing than, say, Mariah Carey. Of course, you may find an NPOV statement or two, but as a whole I think it's no longer needing an NPOV tag so I've removed it. If you disagree, please reinstate the message and/or leave a message on my talk page. --kingboyk 18:01, 1 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Article name

Hypen in the bands name from Guinness World Records British Hit Singles and Albums Book AND The Complete Book Of The British Charts Singles and Albums...both which make no mention of the band is Carter USM...in fact in Music Master the band were down as Carter T.U.S.M. for BIG CAT's discography!! Happy to have it the short way in the article but for a heading dont be so lazy!! the proper title!Xljesus 17:36, 18 March 2006 (UTC)

If I could paraphrase, the issue is, should this article be located at Carter USM, Carter The Unstoppable Sex Machine or Carter - The Unstoppable Sex Machine? It was at Carter USM (a shortened form, yes, but one used by the band themselves) for 2 years without any problems until the above editor decided to unilaterally move it. I personally don't have any particularly strong objections to either Carter USM or Carter The Unstoppable Sex Machine. Comments from other editors, please? --kingboyk 17:43, 18 March 2006 (UTC)
I've moved it back. The band now refer to themselves as Carter USM (see their official website and Fruitbat's Ebay listings), and "Carter USM" has by far the most incoming links. --kingboyk 14:36, 3 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Reason for tackling

What was the reason for the tackling of Schofield?--84.148.95.131 (talk) 15:41, 7 December 2007 (UTC)der.micha

I remember it like it was yesterday

They started smashing up their guitars on the speakers at the end of their song. Paul went (in a very patronising voice) "Very original lads" (or something like that). Mid way through his next sentence, Jimbob dives in from the right and takes him out before legging it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.92.202.253 (talk) 23:32, 1 January 2008 (UTC)

It was Fruity not Jim, but otherwise sounds about right from memory... (actually, I don't think I've ever seen it but I've read about it often enough). --kingboyk (talk) 00:00, 2 January 2008 (UTC)
