[edit] Birmingham

Is there any evidence that this was a Birmingham band, rather than simply including some members from Birmingham? Andy Mabbett 10:55, 14 August 2005 (UTC)

It was formed by carter and lewis who were Brummies, they then formed The Ivy League band in Brum, during their time as The Southerners they worked in London for a while which is when Jimmy Page played as backing. They later formed The Flower Pot Men.

Andy, I can see that Carter and Lewis worked in London for a while but it is not evident whether they were in London or Birmingham (or maybe both cities) during their time as Carter Lewis band. Needless to say that my inclusiion of Jimmy Page on the Arts page is warranted as I wrote "Brummie led band" and not Brummie based. Nick Boulevard 16:21, 29 August 2005 (UTC)
